HOHM provides on-demand sleep pods for Hospitals, Airports, and Universities, bookable via mobile phone/tablet. HOHM pod specs: 43.5 sq ft. (7.25 ft x 7.25 ft x 6 ft) sleep pod, twin size mattress (From Tempur Sealy), easily sanitized surfaces, privacy and sound blocking curtain, charging ports for cell phones and laptops. Assembly time only takes 3-4 hours and plugs into standard outlet.
Sleep deprivation is a major problem with healthcare workers; doctors working 30 hour on call shifts, nurses working 7pm to 7am shifts and sleeping in their cars on their break, the floor, the stories go on and on. This creates large safety risks for both the staff and patients. This same problems also apply to other use cases such as universities and airport, where finding a safe and convenient place to sleep is hard.
