Midwest born and raised, I'm a lifelong entrepreneur, science enthusiast and astrophysicist by schooling, Python software expert by profession. I grew up in Ft. Wayne, IN starting little business, playing baseball, my trumpet, and french horn, reading encyclopedias, and watching the discover channel. I wanted to be an astrophysicist when I was 4, and went to UAH in Rocket City, AL, to make that happen. While there, I invented a rocket engine with my roommates, and formed my first company with them in 2007 to protect that IP and eventually pursue it commercially. In 2010, we decided to become software developers to eventually make money to support that endeavor. We started off being Python Consultants in 2010 under our company Terminal Labs, which continued on and matured until today. In mid-2024 with our matured experience, skill, and support network, we formed our first product company, CAD as Code. We had seen the problems in CAD and physical engineering for decades, and built a native proficiency with software, and the market started to focus on CAD, CAx, and simulation. It's time.
Today, CAD as Code is my entire professional focus and I'm very excited for bringing what we've built to the world. We are fixing the outdated world of CAD, bringing expressivity, automation, interconnectedness throughout CAx, and unlocking actual AI for CAD, which has eluded everyone else who's tried.
